Aaron Gates of Texas Historical Commission was the recipient of our Louisiana Museum Professional Award honoring five to twenty years of commitment, exemplary and distinguished achievement, and professionalism.
Ms. Carol Ann Gayle of the Historic City Hall and Cultural Center received the Louisiana Career Professional Award for her commitment, exemplary and distinguished achievement, professionalism, and sustained contribution to the museum field for more than twenty years.
Our Museum of the Year Award honored the Historic City Hall Arts and Cultural Center of Lake Charles for being a museum that embodies what museums are and what they do; a museum that has demonstrated commitment to its community through outstanding, professionally conceived, and executed programming.
The Elizabeth McLundie Bolton Award was given to Bob Freeland of the Louisiana America250 Commission honoring him as an individual outside the museum profession for his extraordinary achievement in service to and outstanding support of Louisiana museums, involved long-term commitment to them and participation in statewide museum activities.
Visit Lake Charles was the recipient of our Golden Key Award for their continued support to the Louisiana Museum Community.
