“Bridge to Empowerment: Museums’ Role in Inclusion”

The Louisiana Association of Museums’ annual conference presents the best in museum practices and the newest trends, and brings new vitality to the museum field in our state. LAMcon 2018 seeks to help museums and their professional staff develop the skills and knowledge to lead the way to inclusivity in our communities. Museums have a role to play in helping to empower people from all walks of life. We welcome proposals that focus on successful museum practices in such areas as education, administration, collections, preservation, marketing, fundraising, and membership.

We are now accepting applications for award nominations and program proposals for LAMcon 2018. Applications are due July 9th.
